I'm sharing with you today, a project that I thoroughly enjoyed creating! I knew Tracey was covering this topic on Hochanda today, so I dug out my dies and had some fun!
Are there any limits to what this amazing product will do?
I mixed Powertex colours to get a shade of pink and a shade of Lilac...also green with Ivory to make the leaves. Make sure your fabric dries flat.
Different fabrics will need different dies...for instance, you won't be able to cut denim with a detailed shallow die...but you can with a Sizzix Bigz. I used a Spellbinder die to cut these rolled roses, from a fine stockinette fabric. The leaves were cut from Hessian with a Tattered Lace Deep Dish die.
So pleased with this...it shows how versatile Powertex really is. As a base hardener...a background medium and to die cut hardened fabric.
